Guide out of a bad mood

Quick Tips

Smile

Try to smile, even if you don’t feel like it. Psychologically even smiling a fake smile lifts our mood.

Visualise

Stop and visualise yourself as a calm and happy person. Your imagination is powerful.

Go Green

It is said that psychologically the colour green brings happiness. Put on something green to wear, grab a green blanket or get out amidst some green trees.

Cuddle and Snuggle

Snuggling up in a soft blanket can significantly boost your mood. So can a cuddle from a loved one or a hug from a friend.

Altruism

Doing things for other people can instantly make us feel better. Donate to charity, hold the door for someone, buy somebody some flowers or take the time to compliment them.
